Barnett Berry is the Founder and President of the Center for Teaching Quality (CTQ), Inc., based in Carrboro, North Carolina. Created in1999, CTQ seeks to dramatically improve student learning by advancing teaching as a 21st-century, results-oriented profession. He wrote TEACHING 2030 with 12 accomplished teachers.

Jessica Cuthbertson currently serves as a teacherpreneur, dividing her time evenly between teaching sixth grade literacy at Vista PEAK Exploratory in Aurora, Colorado, and supporting teacher leadership and solutions-oriented efforts to improve Colorado’s schools with the Denver NMI. A native of Colorado with over ten years of experience in education, Jessica is an active member of the Aurora Education Association (AEA) and serves as an association representative for her school. Her prior experience includes working as a K-12 Literacy Coach for Aurora Public Schools and teaching middle school literacy in urban and suburban public and charter school settings.

John Holland is an artist, a teacher ad writer and an innovator. After 12 years as a preschool teacher of 3- and 4- year-olds from Richmond's toughest neighborhoods, John began working at Early Head Start/Head Start Program as a child development specialist. He is a co-author of TEACHING 2030 and blogs at The Future of Teaching.

Ryan Kinser is a 6th grade English teacher in Hillsborough County, Florida. After a career in television production, Ryan taught in urban Washington as a D.C. Teaching Fellow. He is a member of the Hillsborough New Millennium Initiative.

Dave Orphal is a teacher in Oakland, California. In 1997, he won a Fulbright Teacher Scholarship to Japan and talked with teachers about the future of education. Dave serves as a veteran teacher leader for the Bay Area New Millennium Initiative and works with the Caifornia Teachers Association's Institute for Teaching.

Mark Sass has been a public high school teacher for 18 years in the Denver Metro area. He has had various leadership positions within his school and district, including this year, when he will teach and lead his district in implementing standards based grading. Mark is a member of the inaugural Aspen Teacher Leader Fellows.

Jose Vilson is a math teacher, coach, and data analyst for a middle school in the Inwood/Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. He is in his fifth year as a teacher, and is a New York City Teaching Fellow. He is a co-author of TEACHING 2030 and sits on the Board of Directors for CTQ. He blogs at The Future of Teaching.
